They call their cuisine Californian—we describe it to our guests endearingly as “hippie fancy.” Inn of the 7th Ray is the fancy place in town—situated by the creek and boasting outdoor dining underneath vines, canopies, and fairy lights, it is also a popular wedding venue. The restaurant has been in business since the 1970s, and is still under the same ownership. This is the cozy and casual family-run Italian restaurant that every town needs. The chicken hunter is the best item on their menu, and they make a particularly excellent caesar salad. Come enjoy Abuelita’s while you can! The only Mexican restaurant in Topanga is sadly selling soon, after many years in business.
